Expedited permitting for demolition and development of updated retail space
- Expedited Delivery
- Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration
In the high pressure world of Los Angeles development, where high costs can meet with even modest delays to render projects dead before a construction crew ever reports to a site, Chambers Group has delivered comprehensive permits on tight turnarounds time and time again. Take 9001 Whittier for example:
On September 12, 2016, the Dynamic Development Corporation received their Notice to Proceed on demolishing the 12,126 square foot drive thru building, currently occupied by Bank of the West. Their goal is to redevelop the busy Los Angeles property as a Chick Fil-A and additional retail space. With each month of downtime rapidly building up against the ultimate viability of the effort, Chambers Group was tasked with the management and preparation of an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration.
In less than two months, Chambers Group was able to not develop and finalize both a Parking Analysis and Traffic Impact Study as well as receive certification at the November 21, 2016 Planning Commission meeting.
We understand that permitting can seem a tiresome exercise to developers moving forward with ambitious projects. That’s why Chambers Group prides itself on its ability not only to deliver comprehensive, sound documentation but to do it not on our timeline, but on the project’s.

Thank you for turning this around so quickly and again, a GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM for your alacrity and thoroughness.”
